Basic Mushroom Drawings
Let’s try some easy basic mushroom drawings without color in the beginning. I usually go with the cap of the mushroom first and then for the stem.
Start with two different-sized half-circles for the mushroom caps: one big and one smaller. Below each cap, draw a slightly curved line for the stems. The stem under the big cap should be thicker.
Let’s try some different basic cute mushrooms! First, draw a half-circle shape for the mushroom cap. Next, draw a straight line down for the stem. Now, for some details: on one mushroom, add big circles, and on another, draw a half-moon shape on the edge. For the last one, make its cap look like an umbrella by adding a curved line underneath. There you go!
Begin by drawing a half-circle for the mushroom’s cap. Inside the cap, add little dots scattered around for texture. Beneath the cap, draw a long, straight line that becomes the stem. Make sure the stem is thick enough to hold up the cap!
Spotted Mushroom
Begin with a long, slightly curved line for the stem. Next, draw a circle on top for the cap. Inside this circle, add smaller circles of different sizes to make it look like the mushroom has fun spots!
Classic Mushroom
This is the classic mushroom drawing with the red and white cap, painted with red color on the cap after finishing the basic mushroom drawing.
Smiling Mushroom
Here is an easy cute mushroom with a smiley face drawing. When you finish with the basic mushroom, you can draw lovely expressions on the cap, like smiling, angry, or crying.

Mushroom Soup
This is one of my favorite foods: a bowl of classic mushroom soup! It is made from fresh cremini mushrooms or mini portobello mushrooms. My mom always made me warm and delicious homemade mushroom soup whenever I was sick as a child.
Mushroom House
As a little girl, I always dreamed of having my own house. It doesn’t have to be a big one but comfortable and warm, just like this cute mushroom house with doors, windows, and tiny chimneys. Do you want to live in it?
Mushroom With Sunglasses
Here is a cool, handsome mushroom boy with sunglasses. He’ll put my sunglasses on as soon as the sun arises midday.
Mushroom Balloon
Start with a half-circle for the mushroom cap. Beneath the cap, draw a short, slightly curved line connecting to a wavy, elongated shape representing the stem. This wavy design gives the mushroom a whimsical feel.
Mushroom Lady
This is a young and beautiful mushroom lady drawing. ‘I was born with my hat and wear it daily; it helps me weather the storm and makes me charming too.’
Mushroom Bread
Start with a rectangle, rounded on top, representing the bread slice. Add crumb dots scattered across its surface. For the mushroom, sketch a half-circle near the top center of the bread. Draw the stem as a straight line with a slight bulge. Add three ovals on the cap for spots. Finish with a shadowed line at the bread’s base and around its edge for depth.
Mushroom Friends Holding Hands
Begin with two upright rectangular shapes side-by-side, slightly overlapping. Attach semicircular caps atop each, ensuring they touch. Place eyes and a smiling mouth on each stem. Sketch arms in the middle, making them meet, resembling holding hands. Below each stem, draw two short legs.
Mushroom Superhero
Begin with a half-circle for the mushroom cap and add spots on it. Directly below, depict the face, eyes, and mouth. Draw lines radiating from the face resembling gills. For the body, sketch a straight vertical line, branching into two short legs at the bottom. Attach a flowing cape starting from the neck and flaring out at both sides, and add a bow tie to look cool.
Mushroom and Dinosaur
Start by drawing a long, curved line for the dinosaur’s back, ending in a pointy tail. For the head, add a half-circle on top. Draw a line down from the head for its neck and three straight lines for its legs. Add little triangle spikes on the dinosaur’s back. Then, draw a small cute mushroom beside the dinosaur. Done!

During moonlit nights, the forest was adorned with glowing mushrooms. Draw a little mushroom that emits a soft, calming glow, guiding woodland creatures safely through the dark.
Wavy Mushroom
Let’s draw a wavy mushroom. Start with a straight line for the stem. At the top, draw a wobbly, cloud-like shape for the mushroom cap. It should have three or four bumps. This makes it look like the mushroom has layers or waves on its cap. And just like that, you’ve drawn a fun, wavy mushroom!
Rainbow Spotted Mushroom
Once in a while, a rare mushroom with rainbow-colored spots appeared in the forest. Draw this unique mushroom, capturing the magical essence of its colorful dots.

Mushroom’s Reading Time

Then, draw a rectangle to represent an open book, with lines to show pages. Add two hands holding the book and feet sitting on the ground. Finish by drawing the ground line.
